  He nodded vigorously. "I shared our moment with no one. I did not realize it would be you."

  "I don't understand."

  He held out a hand. "Come. She waits for you."

  "Who waits for me?"

  His smile was wide. "Still, so many questions no matter which realm we meet in."

  "I'd have a lot less if you would answer some of them."

  He laughed. "So true. But our time out here is dangerous. Please."

  He kept his hand outstretched. Amelie took it.

  "I will follow you, Simon. I have nowhere else in the world to be."

  "Just as well, Amelie. Because we are leaving this world."
